GENTIANACEAE
Leaves opposite, sessile; stems quadrangular.. Flower regular, solitary or clustered, Calyx 4-5 lobed; petals 4-5, united, corolla tube funnel shaped. Stamens as many as corolla lobes, inserted in the corolla tube, filaments filiform. Anthers oblong, yellow, style long, stigma 2 lobed.
